Hex Angels aka Holly and Maud aka Glamours Inc. Maybe we should call it "Hex in the City". It's a project I threw at John Ostrander after we had worked on StarJammers together and he liked the initial concept enough that after we had talked for just a few minutes it seemed we had developed the LA Cluster and a whole new weirdness for a future view. John Ostrander John is the kind of guy you fall in love with immediately. A warm and charismatic character with a booming laugh that you can hear across town! We met in Avilles at a small Spanish convention where the welcome and hospitality of the people made us all relaxed and happy. So it was a good place to make a new friend. And John stood out from the crowd, not just for his size, but by his personality. We linked up; laughed a whole bunch and made plans to conquer the world, or at least the world of comics. So far we have only worked together on a couple of stories John wrote for Marvel called Starjammers; part of the X-Men universe. But we have, as he says, a couple of projects simmering away, waiting for the right taker. We are both too old and wise now to throw them on the mercies of most of the mainstream publishers. These are some character sketches I did over at John's place in New Jersey.
