For those who never saw a copy - here are the colour pages from a 'Winter Special' from back in 88 (?)

More recently I was asked to do an Anderson with short hair as some other artist had taken the scissors to her flowing locks!!

I'd always preferred her with a 'mane' but I did my best.

I'd always thought of that flowing hair as her trademark. But I'll dig out a few images to show that she looks pretty fine with it all off - the hair that is! ;)
Here's a taste of the 'new look' Andy.
When I've scanned them in!!

Judge Anderson - Psi division has always been fun to draw.
But I've never been offered any 'meaningful' stories for her. So she's always been 'eye candy'. But there's nothing wrong with that so long as you're not expecting anything more.
During my stint on the Daily Star Judge Dredd strip, I found that John and Alan were allowing her more humour and playfulness - a kind of flirtation with old 'Stony Face' that everyone knew would come to nothing. So she could be quite brazen, by his standards, in their verbal interplay.
So, when I got the script for the Winter Special, that most of these images come from, and it required some scenes of Anderson's private quarters, I decided to give her a Rag Doll version of Dredd to cuddle on her pillow.
( No. It wasn't in the script! ) ;)

The eyes are very 'Redondo' ! Well, I guess working with him on his Mind Wars saga for Starlord must have had some effect. ;)
