I could tell you about the guy who works for NASA, who wanted 'my' versions of the Star Wars characters as well as a Halo Jones portrait; or the Accountant in Texas who is a fan of the Teenage Tax Consultant - so I did him a special, But I think I'll be better employed just showing you the process.
I suppose you could call this a 'self-promotions' page. As this is where I display some of the pieces I've created individually for fans of my work. And that, in essence, suggests that you are welcome to ask me for something for yourselves.
I hope you are tempted to. For I've had a lot of fun making images for people. And in the process often getting to know them on a personal level a lot more than if they were buying an 'off the shelf' image, which isn't an option I offer anyway - apart from the series of 'Prints' that were available on my previous web-site.
But in the process of working on a commission there is often enough interchange for me to get a feel for the person. And that can make it a much more rewarding experience.
For anyone coming to see if I've displayed their personal commission; I have to say that there isn't quite space for every commission I've done. Plus I don't have copies of every piece either.
But look around the site. You may find your image in 'favourites' or 'colour work'
I have a notion to put an 'album' here. But even that won't have everything.
But to all those who have commissioned work from me - a 'Thank you!'

This is a simple example of how it works - from concept sketch to finished painting. Some are a little more complex with several design changes involved. I guess some folks just think my time is free..? ;)
But this one for Dave West, of his 'Angel' character, was a delight to do.
He was happy and so was I.
